Meet the Coaches

Kristy Ford, Head Diving Coach

Safety Certified with USA Diving and AAU Diving as well as current in First Aid and CPR

Kristy comes from Blue Springs, Missouri. During her High School career, she was a Varsity letter winner all 4 years. She placed Top Four all 4 years at State meet, winning both her Junior and Senior years. She was a four-year All-Conference and All-State Winner. As well as the IHSAA National Honors All-American her Senior year. She is also the Missouri Conference Record Holder and the only diver to score 10's on multiple dives at Conference. Kristy was the Co-Team Capitan her Junior and Senior years and the MVP her Junior and Senior years at both Conference and State. Kristy dove with the Blue Springs Dive Club as a member of the US Diving organization where she competed at Regionals and Zones and Nationals. Kristy went on to dive in college under a scholarship at the University of Missouri her freshman year, prior to starting her family.

Kristy was the Head Coach in 1993-1995 at the Independence Dive Club. She was also an Assistant Coach with Starz Diving from 2004-2006 shortly after moving to Indiana.

Kristy fell in love with diving and has a passion for the beauty and power of the sport. She has spent time studying the Physics of the Sport as well as the Physical and Nutritional requirements of the Sport.

If you ever have any questions or concerns, please bring them directly to the coach. We strive to offer the best in diving opportunities for your child. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible and I will do my best to correct the situation.

Jeff Ford, Assistant Diving Coach

Jeff comes from Raytown, Missouri. He enjoys diving recreationally and has spent a substantial amount of his free time the last 25 years a Boy Scout leader and coaching young athletes in many different sports. His love for the sport of diving has blossomed since marrying his wife, and Head Diving Coach, Kristy and enjoys the extra time he gets to spend with her doing something they both love.

Jeff has spent time studying the physical, nutritional and mental aspects of the sport and is actively involved in structuring weight, conditioning, and dryland workouts for the athletes.

Christian Fordham, Assistant Diving Coach

Certified with AAU Diving

Christian grew up in Madison, Indiana where he started diving during Junior High. He is a 4-year Varsity Letter winner in High School Diving. Christian moved to Plymouth, Indiana his Junior year and became Varsity Team Captain his Senior year in High School. Since that time, Christian has served the community in various ways through his church youth organization as well as in the Boy Scouts of America for the past 7 years holding such positions as Cub Master, Assistant Scout Master, and Scout Master.
