Fishers Diving Class/Team Summary

FAST Start Class: 1 hour practice, 2 days/ week |

This class is for beginning divers. Focus on basic fundamentals and diving safety. Learn safe skill progressions and beginning diving movements. Emphasis on jumps, line-ups, and head-first entries. Introduction to front, back, inward, and reverse dives and somersaulting.
Open to anyone.
Monday + Wednesday, 5:30 - 6:30pm

Silver Team: 2- 1 1/2 hour practices and 1- 1 hour dryland practice |

Appropriate for intermediate divers that are interested in more practice time. Progression of skills on both 1 meter and 3 meter from somersaulting to 1 1/2 somersaults. Focuses on preparing divers for the commitment of training on the Gold Team.
This class is by coach's invite only.
Monday + Wednesday, 5:30 - 7pm
Friday, 5:30 - 6:30pm

Gold Team: 1 1/2-2 hour practice, 3 days/ week |

Appropriate for intermediate divers that are interested in more practice time. Progression of skills on both 1 meter and 3 meter from somersaulting to 1 1/2 somersaults and twisting progressions. Focuses on preparing divers for the commitment of training on the JO Team. Emphasis is on acquiring competitive dives and more advanced somersaulting and twisting skills that will ready them for competition.
Open to anyone who passes off GOLD PASS requirements or by coach's invite.
Monday + Wednesday + Friday, 5:30 - 7pm

JO Team: 2-3 hour practices, 5-6 days/ week |
$250 |

Training with the highly advanced, competitive diver in mind. Athletes on the JO Team travel to competitions at the Regional and National level.
This class is by coach's invite only.
Monday and Wednesday, 5:30 - 8pm
Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30 - 8pm
Friday, 5:30 - 7:30pm
every other Saturday, 11:00 - 1:00pm

Team Registration Fees
There is an annual registration fee of $55 for FAST Start Class divers and Silver Team divers, $75 for Gold Team divers and $175 for JO Team divers. The registration fees pay for your insurance for AAU and other miscellaneous expenses. It also covers USA Diving insurance for the JO Team divers.
Registration fees must be renewed by September 1 to renew AAU and USA Diving memberships.
How To Sign Up
- Contact Coach Ford and set up an evaluation time.
- Fill out the Diving Team Registration Form.
- Make check out to: Fishers Diving Team
for the amount of the monthly fee for the class you wish to sign up PLUS $55 for the annual registration fee for FAST Class and Silver Team, or $75 for Gold Team, or $175 for JO Team.
- Give Diving Team Registration Form and check to coach.
- Write first scheduled practice on your calendar at home!
